Fashion got a serious glow-up in Johannesburg as Malondié and Vaseline Cera-Glow joined forces for the Malondié SS26 Fashion Experience, hosted at Pere House in Midrand.
The exclusive showcase brought together celebrities, media personalities, fashion insiders and tastemakers to celebrate the launch of Malondié’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, with glowing skin taking its place alongside the clothes.
The collaboration explored the idea that a great look is about more than what you wear. Healthy-looking skin can be the finishing touch that pulls everything together.
Following the Glow
Malondié’s SS26 collection followed the theme “Follow The Glow”, inspired by fireflies and the idea that every woman carries an inner light that guides her journey.

That message fitted seamlessly with Vaseline Cera-Glow’s focus on radiant, healthy-looking skin. Powered by Pro-Ceramides, the range is designed to help skin build its own ceramides while supporting a healthy-looking glow.
On the runway, Malondié’s bold and modern silhouettes were paired with glowing skin, creating a beauty-meets-fashion moment that felt very much in tune with the arrival of Spring.
The Runway Surprise
The biggest surprise of the afternoon came when actress Gugu Gumede was revealed as the mystery runway model.

Fresh from her international success in Netflix’s The Polygamist, Gumede commanded the runway with confidence and grace, bringing an unexpected star moment to the showcase.
Vaseline Cera-Glow’s Glow Dolls Lerato Kgamanyane, Naliyani Uma, Bakang Mangoenyane and Robyn-Leigh Mentor also joined the runway in looks personally selected by Malondié founder, Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba.
More Than a Fashion Show
Guests could explore Cera-Glow installations, beauty stations and content spaces throughout the venue, while DJ Mbali Nkosi and Londie London kept the energy going with live performances.
The event wrapped up Women’s Month while welcoming Spring, celebrating confidence, individuality and self-expression.
Scene Feed Thought
There is something powerful about the way fashion allows us to express who we are without saying a word. What we wear can reflect our mood, our confidence and even the version of ourselves we are stepping into.
But this experience was a reminder that the look does not always start with the clothes. Sometimes it starts with how you feel in your own skin.
The Malondié and Vaseline Cera-Glow collaboration brought that idea to life. It showed that beauty is not about following one definition of perfection. It is about finding what makes you feel confident and owning it.
