Golf, networking and women’s empowerment came together at the annual Mrs South Africa Golf Day, which took place at Glendower Golf Course on 29 May 2026.

Bringing together contestants, sponsors, supporters, and golf enthusiasts, the event offered much more than a day on the fairways. It served as another reminder of how the Mrs South Africa platform continues to create opportunities for personal growth and leadership development, and meaningful connections.

More Than A Day On The Greens

Hosted by Mrs South Africa, the event welcomed 120 golfers, alongside semi-finalists, family members and corporate partners for a packed programme of competition, networking and development.

Set against the backdrop of one of South Africa’s top-ranked golf courses, attendees enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition before gathering for workshops, motivational talks, prize-giving celebrations and a buffet dinner.

Semi-finalists were actively involved throughout the event, joining reigning queen Carika Bebb and a community of women from diverse professional and personal backgrounds.

Building Leaders Beyond The Crown

While the golf course provided the setting, the real focus remained on empowerment and development.

Participants attended a series of workshops and panel discussions led by former and current titleholders, mentors and industry professionals. The sessions covered practical topics including personal branding, interview preparation, styling and stage presence, all aimed at helping contestants prepare for the next stage of the competition.

The event also provided semi-finalists with valuable opportunities to connect with sponsors, business leaders and mentors, helping them expand their professional networks while building confidence ahead of the judging process.

Looking Ahead To The Semi-Finals

The Golf Day comes as excitement builds toward the first-ever Mrs South Africa Semi-Finalist Showcase, scheduled for 3 July 2026. The event will see finalists for the 2026 competition officially announced.

Often described as an “MBA of life,” Mrs South Africa has become known for offering contestants opportunities that extend well beyond the pageant stage, with a strong focus on leadership, personal growth and community impact.

The Scene Feed Take

In a world where pageants are increasingly evolving into platforms for leadership and influence, events like the Mrs South Africa Golf Day show that empowerment can happen in unexpected spaces. Combining networking, mentorship and community building with a day of sport, the event reinforced what the programme has become known for: creating confident women who are ready to make an impact long after the competition ends.
