Hey Neighbour Festival Postponed to December 2025

So… we won’t be jamming to Doja Cat, Central Cee, or Black Coffee this August after all. The much-hyped Hey Neighbour Festival 2025 is officially moving to December — and while that stings a little, there’s more to the story.

In a heartfelt note, festival CEO Glen Netshipise didn’t sugarcoat it: “We know this is disappointing. We also know our communication could’ve been better — and for that, we’re sorry.” Respectfully, that’s the kind of transparency we do like to see.

The postponement, according to organisers, is all about making sure the festival not only happens, but happens in a way that’s sustainable and unforgettable. Behind the scenes, they’re working hard to lock in big names, secure more funding, and come back with a stronger setup — no half-baked stages or panic-lineup drops here.

So What Now?

            •          Tickets? Still valid. You don’t need to repurchase — just hang tight for the new dates dropping 30 September 2025.

            •          Lineup? You’ll get the full updated roster then too — fingers crossed our faves are still on it.

            •          Refunds? If you’ve already asked for one, you’ll get your money back by 10 October 2025.

            •          Sponsors + Artists? All being looped in directly. The crew is re-confirming availability and locking in fresh headliners too.

The team says they’re navigating a tricky time — but one full of possibility. “Your support is helping us rebuild something even better,” Glen added.

And honestly? We get it. Festivals are beasts to pull off. If December means tighter logistics, fuller crowds, and bigger moments, we’re down to wait (just don’t make us wait too long for that lineup, please!).

The Scene Feed says: It’s not goodbye, it’s just see you in December — with SPF, shades, and hopefully Doja still on deck.
