Mzansi Magic Builds Momentum With Exclusive Cast Conversation
Mzansi Magic viewers are getting front-row access to the drama behind the drama. Media personality Anele Mdoda will lead a special two-part roundtable titled Inimba: Inside the Magic, bringing together the stars of Inimba to unpack the twists, tensions and defining moments from Season 1 while setting the stage for the highly anticipated second season.
The sit-down forms part of a week-long special exploring the creative world behind the hit telenovela, giving fans rare insight into character motivations, unresolved storylines and what lies ahead.
Cast Reflects on Season 1’s Turning Points
Mdoda, a devoted fan of the show and host of the 947 Breakfast Show, will guide a candid conversation with the series’ leading cast members, including Lunathi Mampofu (Zoleka), Sisa Hewana (Hlathi), Zenande Mfenyana (Thumeka), Loyiso MacDonald (Lazarus), Siyabonga Shibe (Sydney) and Ayakha Ntunja (Qhawe).
Known for her direct, energetic interviewing style, Mdoda promises to tackle the questions fans have been debating since the finale aired.

“Inimba is part of our daily lives… this is the first time a platform is given for the fanbase to get answers directly from the cast – it’s like our own Inimba commission,” she says.
Answers, Accountability and Surprises Ahead
According to Mdoda, viewers can expect more than just reflection.
The roundtable promises accountability, deeper insight into each character’s perspective, unexpected revelations and plenty of humour and heated debate. She also teased a major announcement, suggesting that some storylines may be far from resolved.

What to Expect Before Season 2 Launch
The special serves as a bridge between seasons, offering fans exclusive moments and meaningful insights while building excitement for the Season 2 premiere on 2 March 2026.
Inimba: Inside the Magic airs on Mzansi Magic on Thursday, 19 February and Friday, 20 February at 21:00, and will also be available on DStv Stream and Catch Up.
Scene Feed Thought
Before the drama returns to our screens, Mzansi gets the chance to pause, reflect, and ask the hard questions. If Season 1 had the country talking, this roundtable may just reignite the conversation and remind viewers why Inimba remains appointment viewing.
